ABOUT ME

I am currently an Associate Producer for Spectrum NY1 News, after beginning at NY1 as a writer in 2019. Previously, I was a graphics production assistant on "Kasie DC" on MSNBC. I graduated Marist College in 2017, with a degree in communications and a concentration in broadcast journalism. My specific interests include politics as well as pop culture and Broadway. I have experience in broadcast and digital journalism, and proficiency in social media.

KASIE DC - GRAPHICS PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

December 2017-Present

  • Coordinate all graphics made for the show Kasie DC airing weekly on MSNBC

  • Locate images for VO tapes

  • Fill in as a graphics PA and anchor PA on various other shows

  • Serve as part of the standby breaking news team on Saturday nights

  • Assist producers in locating video for packages

MSNBC LIVE WITH KATE SNOW - INTERN

  • Logged tape, such as White House press briefings and other press conferences, and took note of key quotes

  • Created graphics, researched potential guests, and otherwise helped prepare for each day’s show

  • Pitched and wrote short readers for each show’s ‘headlines at the half’ segment

  • Created ‘cheat sheets’ on a given story or topic for the anchor to reference during the show

  • Took part in meetings, and shadowed producers both in the control room and studio during the show
